Archive for the ‘Bamboo Blade’ Category

Here I am, entering the new year with some lame updates… (^_^’).

As much as I love watching Bamboo Blade, I will no longer be able to continue doing episode summaries for it due to work taking most of my time. To satisfy your need of screencaps and summaries for this, I suggest you hop over to Totali’s blog for that. =)

I will continue with summaries of Shion no Ou and will most probably do that in batches of 2 or 3 episodes per post (ep. 4&5, 6&7, etc.) to make it a bit easier since I’ve been so backlogged with writing it. It will take a bit of time, though (and I think the series would be over by then, heh… I will never let myself be backlogged again!)

Im still short on the last 2 episode summaries of Seirei no Moribito but it’s certain that I will get to that one way or another (I started blogging it more than halfway through, but I still want to finish it off like how I did with Darker than Black and Lovely Complex). While I’m still watching it now and then, I will be officially dropping Hayate no Gotoku! from my blog list since I won”t manage to catch up writing that now that it’s all the way to episode 37 (I stopped at 25… @_@).

With regard to the Winter 2007/2008 line-up, I highly doubt that I’ll be picking up any new series to do episode summaries of since, again, work is taking most of my time (and life! >_<). However, I will still be sticking to writing anime overviews, so expect some new material soon. 🙂 If ever there’s a series that I can’t resist to write summaries of, it would most probably be a short series (12 to 13 episodes) or maybe one full course (24 to 26 episodes), but again, I highly doubt that at the time of writing this babble. On another note, first impressions of the Winter 2007/2008 series will once again be written in batches, like I did last Fall 2007.

Okies… that would be it for the update babbles for now. Eh, that was quite long, wasn’t it? ;P

As the end of 2007 nears, I figured it would be fitting to post something to look back on the anime scene and mention a few of the series that I found rather noteworthy to share. I prefer using the term “notables” than “best of” since I don’t think I’ve seen enough anime to actually say which is best.

Please note that this is quite a subjective list as this was solely based on my picks among the series I have seen that aired from January to December of this year that I feel are notable.

* List order is chronological based on the season when it started airing (from Winter 2006/2007 to Fall 2007)
