- Other than one title, I don’t have a definite watchlist as of yet but in the meantime, based purely on the synopses and the looks of them, the titles which sound interesting to me are:
Will definitely watch…
- Darker than Black: Ryuusei no Gemini – YEAH, BRING IT ON! More Hei awesomeness! :3 Been wishing for this one ever since season 1 ended in 2007. Hopefully, we’d get some backstory on how exactly contractors and dolls came about. From the promo trailer, there looks like a bunch of new and cool characters too, and we’d also get to see some of the old ones (like April and July, for instance). I’m planning to blog episode summaries of it, just like I did the latter part of season 1 (though not as detailed)… we’ll see if that plan pans out. ^^;
Will probably check out…
- Fairy Tail – Because a friend of mine loves the manga. I don’t read that much manga, so I’ll check out its anime adaptation instead (Nakamura Yuuichi is also voicing one of the characters, in #2 too)
- Kimi ni Todoke – Sounds like a slice-of-life, romantic comedy, and its Production I.G. Worth checking out for me. ^^
- Kobato. – Sounds a bit interesting, plus Maeno Tomoaki! ❤ Madhouse animation isn’t so bad either.
- Letter Bee – Sounds interesting. Pretty strong cast list too. (yay, Fukuyama Jun!)
- Miracle Train – Bishie dose of the season, plus Ono Daisuke. Not bad.
- Winter Sonata – I heard this K-drama was good, though I haven’t seen it because it sounded too dramatic and emo of a story for me and I don’t like crying too much over a story and its characters. I’d still check out this anime adaptation though because it looks like it might be worth it. If I get the hang of it, then I guess I’ll just prepare a box of Kleenex. ^^;
- Yumeiro Patissiere – Maybe. Looks cute and yummy (literally)!
- The Sacred Blacksmith – Maybe it could be my (mindless?) action anime of the season…
~ Which titles made your watchlist this season?

- Other than two titles, I don’t have a definite watchlist as of yet but in the meantime, based purely on the synopses and the looks of it, the titles which sound interesting to me are:
Will definitely watch…
- Spice and Wolf II – I liked season 1. It’s animated by a different studio this time though, so it might take some getting used to with the colors and stuff. I hope it turns out as well (or even better) than the first season.
- Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei – I’m not done with season 2 yet though, so I’ll finish that first, then the OVAs. I’ll most likely get to watch this season 3 some time after it airs.
Will probably check out…
- Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 – The synopsis sounds dramatic, but interesting. It’s also taking the coveted noitaminA timeslot in Fuji TV, so I’m kinda curious that it might have great potential to be a good series. Being animated by BONES is also a plus in my book.
- Bakemonogatari – I’m not really into horror-ish stuff, but it says it has some humor in it and it sounds interesting. Plus, it’s a SHAFT production, so I’m at least sure to see some nice visuals. Who knows? I might even enjoy it as much as I did Ghost Hunt. ^^
- Umineko no Naku Koro ni (When Seasgulls Cry) – I’ve never seen any of the When They Cry series, but the mystery aspect is making me want to check this out. It has a pretty good cast list, and Studio DEEN ain’t so bad either.
- Taishou Yakyuu Musume – Sounds interesting. It’s a slice-of-life series about baseball with a solid cast list, and another J.C. Staff production. Might be worth checking out.
- Hetalia Axis Powers (season 2) – the characters are so adorable! Must catch up with season 1 soon (I’m sure I can finish it in one sitting as it takes only about 5 minutes per episode)
- CANAAN – Not much info about it so I’m not too sure what it’s all about. Looks like there’s action though, so I might check it out.
- GA: Geijutsuka Art Design Class – Sounds like a nice laidback series.
- Sora no Manimani – It’s a slice-of-life, romantic comedy. Might be fun. Oh, and I’d get to hear Maeno Tomoaki again too. :3

@ ghostlightning: Not even special episodes? Aww, don’t fret. Maybe the mechas will flood the winter and spring seasons to come.

will definitely watch:
1.) InuYasha [no doubt, loved this series]
2.) Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu S2 [Haruka-sama!!!!]
3.) Kiddy Grade [uhhh…]
others… blah… 🙂
Is it me, or did they really remove Nogizaka Haruka and To Aru Kagaku No Railgun from the fall season lineup?
I saw Version2 of the lineup, and they weren’t there…
crap! no way! no Haruka before the year ends? f*** no! XD
well, that sux.
I’m off to just 2 anime this fall then. that’s good for me though. XD

Fall ’07 Anime was still the best, good anime lineup, just so memorable. 🙂
[…] People who are onto Fall season’s upcoming titles (starting today): Anime Preview: Fall 2009 – Undercover […]
@ Rakuen: Yay, another DtB fan!
@ Shance & rollchan: Hmm… I’m not too sure, but according to my source, Haruka S2 is supposed to be simulcasted by Crunchyroll (though I’m not sure if they released an official lineup list on their site yet). Based on ANN, the 1st ep will air on 10/05. I think more details about airdates are available in Haruka’s official site. With regard to Railgun, I think the 1st ep already aired on 10/02.
@hazy: It’d be a drag if they don’t focus much on Hei, but meh, as long as there’s Yin, I’m all good. Will also check out Kampfer ’cause I read the manga. I can’t help but think Ranma on that one.
@ Rakuen: They must not lose sight of Hei! I demand it! Lol~ I’m looking forward to seeing Yin too, as well as Kirihara. I haven’t seen Kampfer yet, but it’d probably be in batch 2 of my first impressions.
