Episode 03: “Black and Blue”
Summary: Miya-Miya and Dan are running laps together. Miya catches up to him and gives him a hug but Dan utters a small cry of pain upon contact. It turns out that Dan got a pretty nasty bruise on his arm from the bullies last episode. Miya asks if he got it from the bullies. Dan tries to brush this off and says he’s fine and goes off to resume running laps. Seeing Dan hurt, this triggers Miya’s wrath as we see her eyes give a scary glare.

Episode 03: “Komaoto” [Note: Komaoto is the sound of shougi pieces]
Summary: The detectives are wondering why there were 2 threats addressed to Shion and the other one also handwritten. They are wondering if it was done by the same man who murdered Shion’s parents years ago. Just then, the younger detective comes running with a newspaper at hand with a headline regarding Shion and the murder incident. He is worried that the culprit might be reading this and may know of Shion’s present whereabouts since her photo is included in the article. The older detective notes that Shion may have used her own power to open the door that has been closed all this time regarding that incident.

I just saw episode 33 of Hayate no Gotoku! and I simply couldn’t resist posting this bit of Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei parody. I loved SZS so a little parody was amusing to see. I know I’m way late in relaying this news, but I’ll say it anyway… SZS will be having a second season come January 2008! I hope a sub group will stick with it through the season. I’m in so much despair with this news that I’m actually looking forward to watching it! ^_^
HnG is still showing pretty random episodes, but ep 33 is a 2-part arc on the Culture Festival at the academy. Part 2 will be ep 34. I wonder if this is some sort of sign that they’d start showing story arcs again. My coverage of HnG kinda stopped at ep 25. My summaries will resume later on, I think. Maybe I’ll just post it as a batch summary, like in batches of 5 from episode 25 to 30, and so forth… or something like that. I think I’ll get back on it when the randomness settles down a bit. It’s still funny though and I still enjoy watching it, I just can’t get myself to actually blog it episode by episode at this time.

Episode 02: “Secrets”
Summary: Continuing from the last episode, the strange creepy stalker man attacks Shion from behind. Ayumi, who is in guy mode (remember we learned from last episode that he was a guy pretending to be a girl), witnessed the whole thing and runs over to Shion’s defense and gives the stalker man a good punch which makes him scurry away. Ayumi walks over to Shion who is shocked from this new incident and is crying silently. Ayumi tries to comfort Shion and offers his handkerchief to dry her tears. Shion gladly accepts it and gets a good look at her savior’s face.

Episode 02: “Blade Braver and Lunch”
Summary: Flashback: A little Tamaki is totally engrossed in watching an episode of her favorite TV show “Blade Braver.” The villain is telling Blade Braver that they can’t defeat him since he is the strongest and the world belongs to him. Blade Braver informs him that they will defeat him and restore peace to the world, as Tamaki watches in awe.

Episode 01: “The Broom and the Ally of Justice”
Summary: Kirino is practicing in the kendo club dojo. She insists that Ishida-sensei spar with her and that they should aim for the nationals. Ishida refuses to spar with her saying that he’s too hungry right now and tells her that it’s just a club, and if Kirino is having fun in it, then it serves it’s purpose already so Kirino should just relax and have fun. Kirino brushes this off and proceeds on to forcibly spar with Ishida-sensei and hits him repeatedly.

Episode 01: “Shion’s Path”
Summary: A strange and creepy man murdered a couple in their own house. Their young daughter, Shion, witnessed everything. The murderer comes up to her and forcibly covers her mouth. He seems to be saying some things to her which the viewers are not able to hear. For some reason, she was left alive.
