Honey and Clover: Manga Spin-off Surprise, Squee!

Just a quick, probably pointless babble to release some of the giddiness in me. Lol.

Um, well, at least it’s good news for me since I liked Nomiya and Yamada from H&C. ;P

I stumbled across usagijen’s post that made the fangirl in me squee. After the H&C manga was finished, I’ve read that a spin-off was in the works. Since then, I’ve been googling and looking around for any signs regarding it’s release, hoping to know a bit more of the Yamada x Nomiya storyline that was left a bit open ended. Apparently, I haven’t searched well enough as I surprisingly learned from usagijen’s post that this was actually the 2nd chapter already and that the 1st one was released more than a year ago. Talk about late timing. Haha. Either way, I’m glad I found it and I got what I hoped for as well! (with some nice scans to boot! Yay!)

Besides liking the lovely and bittersweet story of friendship, love and life in general in H&C, I’ve also mentioned before that I’ve been rooting for Yamada x Nomiya. Heh. So I’m more than happy to read what happens next along with a little insight on the other characters as well who were mentioned briefly by those two. =)
